ABC News reports that police may have found new evidence possibly tying Dzokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the two suspects named in the Boston Marathon bombing, to a brutal triple homicide in 2011. Authorities have not commented publicly on the case, but ABC reports officials who believe they’ve found “forensic hits” linking both brothers to the crime, prompting further investigation.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a former roommate of one of the victims, Brendan Mess, who was found dead with his throat slit in his home along with two other men, Erik Weissman and Raphael Teken. Their bodies were covered with about seven pounds of marijuana and $5,000 in cash was found on the scene.
