97 House Republicans signed a letter urging President Obama to pass on the possible nomination of U.N. ambassador Susan Rice as a replacement to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday, taking issue with Rice’s involvement with the deadly attacks upon Americans in Benghazi, Libya, the Hill reports. If Obama decided to go forth with Rice at State, however, it would be up to the Senate to confirm her.
