A Benton, Louisiana three-year-old was admitted to a hospital Monday after being shot by a .22 rifle, KSLA reports.
Authorities are describing the incident as an accident that happened when the rifle was knocked over by a door after it was bumped by another child. The three-year-old was airlifted to LSU Hospital and his condition has not yet been released.
