Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) spoke out about the rampant gun violence in Chicago Wednesday, mentioning the case of a 15-year old girl who was fatally shot Tuesday, just a week after performing in President Obama’s inauguration last week. 

Speaking at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on gun violence, Durbin said the problem in Chicago was that there are too many guns.
