Privacy Group Gets Part Of Google Settlement: Judge

A U.S. judge has approved a class action settlement over Google’s Buzz social network, and awarded $500,000 to the Electronic Privacy Information Center, an advocacy group that has played an important role in highlighting and explaining to the public the significance of key privacy issues in the digital age.
