Are these some of the faces of “Anonymous,” the loosely-knit collective of hackers and online pranksters that have caused so much trouble for government and corporate websites over the past three years?
That’s what the FBI thinks, which is why they arrested 16 people from across the country in July.
Thanks to a Freedom of Information Request, TPM has obtained the mugshots of 14 of the suspects. Check them out here.
Meanwhile, despite the high-profile arrest, Anonymous continues its live protests of the San Francisco Bay Area Transit System (BART), with another 20 to 30 people arrested on Thursday.
The group also Friday released a new Twitter modification for supporters allowing them to automatically piggyback Anonymous tweets atop Twitter’s trending topics.
