A number of readers have written in to tell us that they've had problems (specifically, error messages) when trying to contribute through our Paypal link. First, thank you so much for your interest in contributing and your willingness to put up with these hassles in order to do so.
We're trying to get to the bottom of the problem. And here are a couple fixes which seem to address the problem for most users.
First, some people have had problems using "Firefox" or "Mozilla" browsers but have been able to contribute without any difficulty using Internet Explorer.
However, the best solution seems to be this. First, go to Paypal.com directly. Log in to your account, assuming you have one. Then come back to this page and click on the link or button below. For most people, that seems to do the trick.
