Someone in the Huntsman campaign is a big fan of the split-screen attack video.

On Friday, a video released by the campaign played clips of Gov. Mitt Romney alternately confirming and denying the reality of climate change. The images were split with the comical image of a flipping toy monkey.

The same day, in an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Huntsman accused Romney of being a “perfectly lubricated weather vane on the important issues of the day.”

On Monday, amidst the general din of the Herman Cain sexual harassment allegations, the Huntsman campaign decided to press their attack on the man most still consider the true Republican frontrunner.

While sticking to the same split screen format, the new video instead mashes images of a shifting weathervane with clips of Romney giving a variety of contradictory opinions on healthcare, economic stimulus, and tax increases.
