The DCCC is hitting the airwaves in Queens and Brooklyn with a new ad against Republican Bob Turner, who’s running against Democrat David Weprin to replace Anthony Weiner in New York’s 9th District. Take a look:
As mentioned on the blog earlier, Democrats are starting to get very nervous about this race. Airtime in NYC doesn’t come cheap and the fact they’re ponying up the cash in a Democratic-leaning district is a sign of trouble.
The question now is whether national Republicans sense a possible upset and throw their own resources behind Turner. And according to Hotline on Call, they’re getting ready to do just that, inquiring about ad time in the race.
