I totally disagree with many of your readers comments. I grew up in Philly and remember Spector as an honest, straight-shooting DA and then Senator.

And even though I am a staunch Democrat I always felt that he put his constituents in PA first and foremost and ahead of politics. He has also had a long, productive and respectful relationship with Ed Rendell, and has for years.

Meanwhile Sestak was one of the most obnoxious pro-Hillary/anti-Obama-ites during the primary and I will never forget his petulance. He also condoned much of the disgusting behavior emanating from the Pro-Hillary Pennsylvania camp and refused to denounce it when it was proven and attributed to other fellow Hillary supporters. I really hope Arlen squeaks it out. This nonsense of not being able to beat Toomey is just that. Arlen will do great by PA (as he always does) and he will easily defeat Toomey.
