9:05 PM: Watching Trump rally as he tries to explain how he’s jettisoning his entire campaign agenda 80 days out from the election.

9:08 PM: Sigh. CNN moves off rally because Trump isn’t talking about immigration. Notably though, Trump does slogan designed for 1930s and 1940s era Nazi fellow-travelers. So there’s that.

9:16 PM: “Crooked Hillary Clinton discriminates against African-American children.”

9:17 PM: Trump booting protesters. This is totally Wally George.

9:21 PM: “Give Donald Trump a chance.” Like another John Lennon. “So when you walk down the street you don’t get shot, which is happening now.”

9:22 PM: And here we go to the immigration pivot. Double down on wall, moonwalk mass deportation.

9:22 PM: “We are going to enforce the law.” Not a lot of applause.

9:28 PM: So the gist seems to be 1) Double down on the Wall 2) “Enforce the Law” 3) Say various things about how Hillary wants to allow the country to be overrun by foreign hordes. (Basically just forget about mass deportation.)

9:45 PM: Trump now asking why Clinton’s lawyers aren’t in prison.

9:51 PM: Trump says African-Americans will be proud of Trump. Voting for Trump will create “more inclusive country.” “We reject the bigotry of Hillary Clinton.”
