It’s not uncommon for an accused criminal to claim they’ve been framed. After all, even the Tsarnaev’s parents are currently saying that. But in this bizarre ricin letter case, we not only have the claim. But it’s starting to seem like it’s true.

We have a piece coming shortly with a brief interview with the guy the feds now seem to be investigating in the case after releasing Kevin Curtis earlier this afternoon. But let me give you a brief update.

What focused the government’s attention on Curtis in the first place was a tagline he frequently uses on social media. That tagline was the signature on the ricin-laced letter. So if it wasn’t Curtis who sent the letters, it really, really seems like someone else was trying to frame him.
