Marketing and Ad Operations Associate

Location: New York City

Description: TPM is hiring a Marketing and Ad Operations Associate with excellent graphic and design skills to be an integral part of our ad sales and publishing team. This person will be responsible for designing compelling sales presentations for TPM advertisers and overseeing the optimization of current advertising campaigns. The sales manager will help create innovative custom ad creatives and spearhead TPM’s ad sales marketing in a pivotal year of growth for the company.

Responsibilities: Collaborating and innovating with the sales team to create persuasive materials for proposals and meetings; Spearheading TPM’s marketing expansion; Working with the creative team to obtain site mockups for marketing materials; Brainstorming with the sales and creative teams to concept custom marketing programs for major clients; monitoring and preparing campaign reports to maximize advertiser retention; Managing ad operations, launch and scheduling of all campaigns across web and mobile.

Requirements: Candidates must have relevant design experience and be ready to work at the fast-paced metabolism of a new media news organization. A solid grasp of contemporary U.S. politics, a real familiarity with TPM, and a good design eye are each a must. We are looking for someone eager and exceptional who has solid experience in digital media, a keen understanding of presentation design and is willing to dive into several projects at once.

Bachelor’s degree; Attention to detail, unrivaled time management skills; Obsession with design and the elements of visual presentation; Deep understanding of and appreciation for PowerPoint; Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator; Familiarity with Google products such as DoubleClick for Publishers, Apps, Docs, Gmail, Calendar, etc.; Enthusiasm for the future of brand advertising on the web; Exceptional creativity and a love of strategy and this industry.
