Well, not precisely. But it does seem that the wave of religious zealotry washing from Pakistan to Iran to the West Bank is lapping up against the Amish archipelago in Pennsylvania, Ohio and other American states. Five Amish men in Ohio were arrested this week for breaking into the homes of Amish families and forcibly cutting hair and beards of those they believed have become lax in the faith.
