It seems like Javier Sanchez, Michele Bachmann’s just arrested top advisor, may also have repeatedly misrepresented his military service. On at least two occasions he appeared in public (once on Fox News) as a Marine Captain who’d served in Iraq and Bosnia. In fact, his highest rank was sergeant and he apparently never set foot in either country.

These appearances took place while Sanchez worked for the Armed Forces Foundation, where he was later fired “for misrepresenting his role within the Foundation.”
