Former state GOP Chairman Jim Greer has been arrested.
No charges have been announced yet. The arrest was by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which is holding a press conference at 11:30 ET.
Greer, you’ll recall, was a longtime pal and ally of Republican Gov. Charlie Crist, but was forced out as chairman earlier this year as Crist’s Senate campaign was lagging and Greer faced accusations of financial improprieties involving party money.
