Gilberton, PA Police Chief Mark Kessler says his profanity-ridden viral videos in which he fires machine guns and calls Secretary of State John Kerry a “traitor” were simply his way of exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights.
I’ve been looking more into this Kessler guy’s history. (Alex Seitz-Wald has a good run down in Salon.) But the most weirdly comic part of the story is that aside from calling John Kerry a traitor and lashing out against ‘fucking libtards’ he appears to be most focused on the tyranny of the Schuylkill County government.
