President Obama’s budget director Peter Orszag will reportedly step down in July, after 18 months in the administration.
Orszag heads the Office of Management and Budget, and his departure would mark the first time a member of Obama’s cabinet has left the administration.
OMB spokesman Kenneth Baer told the AP that he “can’t confirm anything,” and that “Peter is focused on his work, not on Washington speculation.”
