Mitt Romney was an apparent victim of air rage on a flight home from the Vancouver Winter Olympics this afternoon. The Toronto Globe And Mail reported
the story this evening:
The man sitting in front of Mr. Romney's wife dropped his seat back and when Mr. Romney asked him to move it upright for takeoff, the man became "physically violent." Another report said that the man tried to strike Mr. Romney.
According to reports, Romney "did not retaliate" to the attack.
Romney's Air Canada flight had not left the Vancouver airport when the incident happened, and the man who attacked Romney was arrested after the pilot returned to the gate, the Globe and Mail reports.
On the Website for his Free And Strong America PAC, Romney blogged the trip he and his wife took to Vancouver as guests of the city's Olympic host committee. Romney led a similar committee prior to the Salt Lake City Olympic games in 2002.
