Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA), who is running against Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) in the state’s May 18 Democratic Senate primary, has released a new ad featuring a group of military veterans defending Sestak’s service in the Navy.
The TPM Poll Average shows Specter leading Sestak 45.0% to 29.8%.
Specter released an ad recently that accused Sestak of “creating a poor command climate” when he was an Admiral in the Navy.
In Sestak’s new ad, a group of veterans say “Specter just looks out for himself,” and urge him not to “lie about Admiral Sestak’s distinguished service record.”
At the end, they all salute Sestak.
