CNN also presented a follow-up question to respondents who opposed the health care law, asking them whether it was too liberal, or not liberal enough. From that, CNN found that, among the entire sample, 43% of respondents thought the law was too liberal, while 13% said that it wasn't liberal enough.
That indicates that opposition to the health care law is not just coming from the right, but that some on the left wish it had gone further.
In a Kaiser Family Foundation poll released earlier this week, 30% of respondents said they would like to see the health care law expanded.
The CNN poll was conducted March 11-13 among 1,023 adults nationwide. It has a margin of error of 3.0%.
