New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino may not share the belief of a growing number of Americans that President Obama is a Muslim, but he has his doubts about Obama’s belief in Christianity: “I think he worships himself.”
Appearing on Capitol Tonight yesterday, Paladino was asked whether he believes “the President is a practicing Christian.”
“I think it’s part of the theater of Mr. Obama,” he replied, clarifying that he’s “not saying he’s anything else, but I think Mr. Obama is about himself. I think any religious beliefs that he advocates are part of the theater to make himself look better to the American people.”
“I think he worships himself,” he added. “He’s a very condescending person.”
