Secretary of State Hillary Clinton shrugged off the Egyptian protests of her recent visit with newly elected President Mohammed Morsi, saying she only regretted the wasted tomatoes.
Jon Stewart, though, wasn’t too impressed with the Egyptians’ technique. Throwing actual tomatoes? A bit cliche, he said. “You supply one country’s military with tear gas canisters that they used on their own populace, and they never stop crying about it.”
“There’s only one thing America’s most powerful leaders respond to,” Stewart said: the Kiss Cam. “It’s one more reason to be thankful Al Gore was never president,” Stewart said.
