Jon Stewart last night got in the holiday spirit by expressing his disbelief that the annual Christmas parade in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been renamed the Holiday Of Lights.
“Nietzsche was right, God is dead,” Stewart said.
As we reported last week, Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe (R) has declined to participate in the parade, saying, “I’m not going to ride in a Christmas parade that doesn’t recognize Christmas.”

Inhofe also appeared yesterday on Fox & Friends to say the parade is part of a larger issue of folks around the country picking on Christmas.
But, Stewart admitted, “the season wouldn’t feel the same without people going out of their way to be offended by nothing.”
