Stewart reminded Christie of his hyper-partisan tone ahead of the election and then his shift after President Obama visited the storm-wrecked region. "Right after the storm was over, you were like, 'This man is a leader,'" Stewart said. "Doesn't that tell you something about the game?"
"What it tells me is that people have different skill sets at different times," Christie responded.
"I see," Stewart said. "So he wasn't a leader until you needed leadership."
"Maybe until he was presented with a stark opportunity to lead," Christe said.
