A tough new DNC ad ties John Boehner and Joe Barton together — and hits both — for their recent comments defending Wall Street and Big Oil.
Barton (R-TX) recently came under fire for apologizing to BP after the Obama Administration had them set up a $20 billion escrow fund to pay for the damages caused by the oil spill. House Minority Leader Boehner (R-OH) caused a flap when he compared financial reform to “killing an ant with a nuclear weapon.”
The DNC’s new ad attacks the pair for “fighting for Wall Street and Big Oil. That’s how Republicans would govern.”
