Gov. Jon Corzine (D-NJ) is getting more help from the White House in his re-election campaign, with the Corzine team announcing that Vice President Biden will campaign alongside Corzine this Monday.
The event will be held at Middlesex County Community College Physical Education Center in Edison, New Jersey, with the doors opening at 11 a.m. ET. This is in addition to President Obama’s upcoming rally with Corzine, which will be held this Wednesday.
Corzine is narrowly trailing Republican former U.S. Attorney Chris Christie, who used to lead by much healthier margins until recently. Corzine is clearly hoping that the White House’s popularity in Democratic-leaning New Jersey could be enough to get him across the finish line.
