Benjy Sarlin is a Capitol Hill reporter for Talking Points Memo.

Sarlin covered politics for The Daily Beast/Newsweek as their Washington Correspondent from 2008 to 2011 and edited the publication’s DC blog, Beltway Beast. Previously, he reported on City Hall for The New York Sun in his native Manhattan. A former TPM intern, Sarlin wrote his undergraduate thesis at Vassar College on political blogs.
