Old Habits Die Hard

Mitt Romney got pretzeled by Jay Leno of all people. The question: How would a President Romney address the problem of people who can’t get health insurance because of pre-existing conditions. The answer was very revealing and highlights again what a terrible predicament Romney will be in if elected. The Supreme Court will have struck down “Obamacare” by then or Romney will be pushing to repeal it. Either way, all of the chronic, systemic problems with the U.S. approach to health care delivery, including pre-existing conditions exclusions, will once again be front and center with no viable solution on the table.
