Let’s take a quick look at what’s happening in New Hampshire.
This is the chart of the New Hampshire primary from TPMPolltracker. I’ve stripped out everyone besides Romney, Gingrich, Paul and Huntsman. After those four, who are all over 10%, you drop to Bachmann at 3%. So these are the four really in the race. And at least by one read of the numbers, they’re all converging.
Romney’s still falling, though he remains clearly in the lead. Newt’s rapid rise appears to have stopped. And Paul’s more or less treading water.
But look at Huntsman. He’s only just over 10%. But at the moment he’s the only one with a clearly upward trend while the two top guys — Romney and Gingrich — are both tracking down.
Definitely worth watching, despite the fact that Huntsman’s been the running joke of the campaign for months.
