During an interview with Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday,” Hillary Clinton defended her use of email as secretary of state, which has come under renewed scrutiny now that the FBI did not recommend charges against Clinton.

“I made a mistake not using two different email addresses,” she said on “Fox News Sunday.” “It is certainly not anything that I ever would do again.”

Wallace noted that before the FBI released its findings, Clinton said that she did not send or receive classified information over her email. The Fox host told Clinton that FBI Director James Comey said that “none of those things that you told the American public were true.”

“That’s not what I heard Director Comey say,” Clinton responded. “Director Comey said that my answers were truthful and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people: that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails.”

Wallace then noted that some of the emails found by the FBI contained markings for classified information. Clinton said that some staffers who sent her emails “made the wrong call” in including certain information.

“At the time, there was no reason, in my view, to doubt the professionalism and the determination by the people who work every single day on behalf of our country,” she said.
