Neo-Nazi Kenneth Morgan Stancil III admitted in an interview on Wednesday to killing his gay boss at a North Carolina college and said he hated gay people “with a passion.”

During the interview with WRAL reporter Mikaya Thurmond from a Florida jail, Stancil, 20, accused his victim, Ron Lane, of being a child molester and said he felt no remorse for killing Lane and in fact had done “the world a favor.”

When asked whether he hated gay people, Stancil said: “Yes, I do — with a passion.” He said the fact that Lane was gay was one of the reasons he shot him but not the main reason.

Stancil also claimed he’d killed three other people and said he was never caught because he knew the law and knew how to “evade it.” Pressed on details, however, he gave vague responses to the reporter. The sheriff’s department told WRAL there weren’t any unsolved homicides that matched Stancil’s descriptions, the Associated Press reported.

Authorities said Stancil killed Lane, 44, on Monday with a single shot from a pistol-grip shotgun and then fled the state before being captured on Tuesday on a beach in Florida.

Throughout the interview with WRAL, Stancil maintained that he would do “anything necessary” to protect his family.

“The man’s a child molester, man,” Stancil said.

He claimed his boss had made advances toward a male relative.

“He ain’t physically touch him but he was in the proposal to try to,” Stancil said. “You know, and I wasn’t gonna let that happen.”

Stancil claimed Lane sent the relative harassing Facebook messages and tried to call the relative about six or seven days before the shooting. According to Stancil, Lane had attempted to find him on Facebook but instead found the relative and began to make sexual advances toward him. Stancil said that because the relative wasn’t a “faggot” like Lane, he was forced to act.

“I took it in my hands to take care of the business that needed to be took care of,” he said.

Stancil’s mother, Debbie Stancil, told the Associated Press earlier this week that Lane had never molested a family member, despite what Kenneth claimed. She also said Kenneth needed “mental help.”

During the interview with WRAL, Stancil maintained that he wasn’t ashamed of what he’d done and took full responsibility for the killing.

“If I get life, I just get life,” he said.

Stancil went on to say Lane had also made sexual advances toward him.

“I was trying to live right,” Stancil said. “I was trying to do right, you know. Keep my political and religious views separate from the workplace.”

When asked if he was a white supremacist, Stancil asked for clarification before confirming that he was a neo-Nazi.

“I am a neo-Nazi but, you know, I don’t define with any group, you know. Obviously I will when I go to prison but, you know, that’s just how things work. You understand?” Stancil said. “I try to look out for my fellow white people as much as possible, you understand? And, I don’t believe in race mixing.”

Stancil said proper planning had enabled him to quickly leave North Carolina and make his way to Florida.

“I’m like a wizard,” Stancil said. “Sometimes I can float, sometimes I can fly. Not literally speaking.”

Stancil was captured on Tuesday after law enforcement found him sleeping on a beach in Volusia County, Fla. He is being held without bail in a Florida jail and is expected to be sent to North Carolina for prosecution.
